1. Overview
This website and store are operated by Golden Roots Wellness Group Inc., doing business as Golden Roots Meals ("Golden Roots," "we," "us," "our"). By visiting our site or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Refund Policy, our Shipping Policy, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to place an order. You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and your login secure.
3. Products, pricing and availability
- We make every effort to describe our meals accurately, including ingredients, portion sizes and allergens. Photos are for illustration, and meals may vary slightly in appearance. Nutrition information, where provided, is an estimate.
- Prices and menu items may change at any time. We may limit quantities, discontinue items, or refuse or cancel any order, including if a product was listed at an incorrect price. If we cancel a paid order, we will refund you in full.
- Discount codes are subject to the terms stated with each code, may be limited to one use per customer, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
4. Health, allergies and nutrition
Our meals are prepared in a kitchen that handles common allergens including milk, eggs, wheat, soy, fish, shellfish, peanuts and tree nuts. We cannot guarantee any meal is free from cross-contact. It is your responsibility to review ingredients and allergens before ordering. Our meals and any nutrition information are not medical advice. Consult your healthcare provider about your specific dietary needs.
5. Food safety
Meals must be refrigerated promptly after delivery, stored at 40°F or below, eaten within 4–5 days or frozen, and reheated to 165°F. We are not responsible for illness or spoilage caused by improper storage or handling after delivery.
6. Weekly meal plans
If you purchase a recurring weekly plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method for each delivery period until you cancel. You may skip, pause or cancel before the weekly order cutoff shown at checkout.
7. Events
Event tickets admit the named purchaser (or a guest you transfer the ticket to) to the stated event. Guests agree to follow kitchen safety and hygiene instructions during tours, and we may refuse entry or ask a guest to leave for unsafe or disruptive behavior. By attending, you consent to being photographed or recorded, and to our use of those images for promotional purposes, unless you tell us at check-in that you do not consent.
8. Support contributions
Support contributions are voluntary payments to a for-profit business. No goods or services are provided in exchange, and contributions are not tax-deductible. Supporters may be listed by name on our Founding Supporters list unless they ask to remain anonymous.
9. Payments
Payments are processed securely by our payment providers. By submitting payment, you confirm you are authorized to use the payment method provided. Applicable Texas sales tax is added at checkout.
10. Intellectual property
All content on this site, including our name, logo, menu descriptions, photos and recipes, belongs to Golden Roots or its licensors and may not be copied or used without our written permission.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Golden Roots is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of our site or products. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page.
